Calla, the courageous princess from Adventures of the Gummi Bears, is very likely the most unknown Disney-princess. And why? Because the princesses that appear in their own films have all the fun, that's why!
Thus I vote for Calla's addition to the classic princess canon! I always appreciated the way Calla's role as a strong female was treated with respect, rather than the "Girls rock! Boys suck!", stance that most Disney shows (unfortunately) take these days.

Oh no, that's no film, it's a cartoon series that was very popular in the 80s. And it's not truly about the candy gummi bears... it's about bears that use a secret juice to be able to bounce. But yes, the series is called "Adventures of the Gummi Bears". Just google it or search it on youtube... it's a little Disney masterpiece.

Yeah, they should let her in Disneyland! She is the spunkiest most tomboyish princess! She's my second favorite character besides Gruffi. Both of them together working as a team is even better. One of my favorite episodes is "Hard Dazed Knight" where Calla helps Gruffi build a knight and he engineers it.

I was always very fond of "A Hard Dazed Knight" (love the Beatles-pun! xD), Calla working together with Gruffi, showing him that girls can handle technical issues as well, was absolutely fabulous. I wish those two had been teaming up in more episodes.

I know. I like Calla and Gruffi because they almost have a father/daughter relationship, and I have a father complex. I haven't seen my dad in 5 years, so I single out the male leader father figure characters. That's my psychiatric analysis anyway...
