I absolutely adore this man, so I thought, with my new drawing skills, (and my wacom pad) I would draw him.Reference picture: [link]
I only do in greyscale at the moment, because I haven't got used to doing colours.
Time taken: 9 hours 38 minutes (including trial and error)
Layers: (I had to split the psd in two because I ran out of scratch disks, so with both added up together, it was around 321)
Tools used: Photoshop 7.0, Wacom tablet & pen

EDIT2: I smoothed the face and hands, and a bit of the clothes aswell, to make it look much nicer.

Now thats what i like to see. Sunday afternoon, laying in bed all flued up and a picture of Jake Glynhall staring at me.
Nothing is better than that.. well no thats a lie. Having him in bed with me staring at me in the face would be much much nicer
its done very well, i really like the hair and the technique you have used. The fingers are done well and the shading underneath them and in the cloths are done well. I think just that there might be a fraction more shading done within the face to highlight where the cheekbone and the shine of the nose is. But dont let that think i dont like this picture.
Because i like it a lot.
