2b: That name is...familiar somehow.

Pod: Emil has mentioned the name Kainé before.
Proposal: Take Weiss to meet Emil for information exchange.

Weiss: Emil?! Emil is still alive?!
We have to get back to our own reality!

2b: We will, once i discover what drew me here.
Finding these soulswords, finding you Weiss...
something is pulling me along this path,
and all i hear is a word...or a name guiding me.

Weiss: What is it?

After playing through Nier: Replicant i recently decided to
replay Nier Automata, which inspired me to draw this!

2b was in Soulcalibur as a guest character.
"Soul Embrace" is a name used to describe the merging of
the two soulswords.

The sword she holds is meant to be a physical fusion of the soulswords,
while the sword floating behind her is an energy fusion of the two.

In Nier, humans had their body and souls seperated, and new bodies created
from information from their soul.
Despite being separate, they are still magically connected.

I like the idea that the mind of the body merges with the mind of the soul when both "die",
but where does the soul go when it fades from the world?
...well since 2b appears in the world of Soulcalibur, i'll simply have it be that world
