Am I the only one sick of seeing stamps that are anti-whatever and are really petty?Stamps that say 'I disapprove of homosexuality' (Disapproval is just a polite name for saying you hate gays) or 'Anti Yaoi' or some shit, or stamps that bash shipping or characters, are lame and pointless, and only add negativity.
Stamps used to be fun. Stamps can still be fun. If you want to make a stamp, make it positive, not negative!
Instead of making a anti-gay/yaoi/yuri stamp or telling people they're going to hell if they don't believe, make one that says I love Jesus or Jesus loves you, or something fun!
Instead of making stamps that bash people, characters, or shipping, make stamps for things you LIKE. Make "I like/love ----"
I've seen too many I hate/disapprove/I'm anti-whatever stamps out there, especially after arguing with a tartlet who insisted that her anti-Zutara stamp was "just for fun".
Yes, I realize the irony in saying I hate hate-stamps but I make a hate stamp myself XD
Of course, making an anti-stamp that is against racism, homophobia, terrorism, abuse, torture, Twilight, and Hannah Montana are perfectly appropriate, and are the exception to my statement about hate stamps.

Hell, people have different opinions. That's life. People can hate, love, or be neutral to whatever shows, genres, or media as they please. Different perspectives should be acknowledged no matter what. 
People hate genres I like and visa-versa, that's just human nature.

Saying that you hate Hannah Montana or Twilight is okay, but saying you're against Yaoi, Yuri, or just general softcore anime pornography is not?
In addition, if someone is strongly against something clearly negative like racism, why not make a stamp that advocates peace and love instead of "I hate people who hate people because their skin color is different?"

People need to stop bawwing about the homogays. They're here, they're queer, and they're here to stay. As for porn, what do you care? (as long as kids and animals and illegal acts aren't involved, of course)

I definitely agree that people should not hate other people for something they can't control, but I won't pretend to be an expert on things I'm not.
With that said, I don't hate LGBT people. I apologize if my comment seemed to suggest that. I'm also not against people who like LEGAL pornography. I'm not into hentai or yaoi or anything like that, but I honestly don't care if someone is, because it really isn't my business knowing another person's pornographic viewing likes.
What my comment was saying is that people can't say it's perfectly okay to hate one thing that a lot of people like, but it's unacceptable to hate another thing that you, and a lot of other people like. That's hypocritical. I'm not trying to be a troll- this is what I seriously believe. I don't like Twilight or Hannah Montana (let's be honest, nobody really gives a shit about Hannah Montana anymore), but i'm not into anime porn either. Each can be equally disliked by anyone.
I also believe that there are very serious forms of hate which deserve serious attention, and unfortunately are taken less seriously because they are equated with a minor dislike of something ultimately trivial. I've seen people who don't bat an eye when I talk to them about racial hatred in my country, but get all worked up when I tell them that I don't like their favorite book, movie, or video game.
Again, I apologize if my comment appeared offensive to you, that was not my original intent. I just thought that I would explain the point I was making more clearly.

One thing I really hate is the 'I hate this ship' stamps. Like, come on. There's pairings in fandoms I don't care for, but to make hate stamps against them is just retarded.

I have to agree that hate/anti-stamps are getting more and more childish by the decade, and most of the time it starts unnecessary dramas. I'm not saying that no one should express their feelings toward something they like, but if you think about it....how much good do you think anti-stamps have been doing besides encouraging more drama? Looking from the middle at both ends of things...both sides are complete idiots...

Agree 100 %. I fucking hate when I come across Anti-Yaoi/Homo, Anti-Racist Stamps ect. That all they do is bitch about it.
Then at the end they say something along the lines of "But I'm not Homophobic" or "I'm not racist" blah, blah.
... Ok 1) Nobody said you were, so stating it when nobody said it says otherwise. -_-
2) The fact that you are Anti-Something, does in fact mean that you're against it. Therefore, you are in fact against whatever you're bitching about.
So adding the "But I'm not (Homophobic, racist ect.)" at the end of whatever it is you're bitching about is pretty hypocritical of you, seeing as you are against it.

Hating something because you don't agree with it is different than stating that you hate something because it disgusts you or whatever.

But I totally agree, these hate stamps suck! They are completely unecessary, If you hate something, NOBODY CARES, I care about what people like not hate. This is the only acceptable hate stamp to me, the hate stamp that hates hate stamps!
