"Hello, hello, hello there!" Palas's voice echoed around the office. He strides into the sapphire office, the icicles catching the light of the window behind an Aurorian Fox. The fox looks up, and the icicles quickly disappear. Palas gasps as the ice structures vanish without a trace. "Whohoa. That's a neat trick there. I gotta learn it," he said.

The fox chuckled lightly, "Oh, good. You speak Common. That will make things a little easier for us," he adjusted his position before continuing, "I am Sage, Mew York City's ambassador. I will be filling out your citizenship forms for you, so you don't have to busy yourself after the terrible incidents you may have come from." He took out a pen and began to scribble information onto the sheets.

"What? Citizenship forms? Wai-wai-wai-wait I'm sorry. Haaah, there seems to be some kind of mistake," Palas quickly interupted. Sage flicked his ears, and looked up in light confusion, "Mistake? Could you clarify?"

"Yes ye-ye-yes, mistake," Palas started getting a little jumpy, but whenever was he not? His tails started lashing about the place. "Uhm, yeah, I was just coming into the city, yeah. I'm not staying long- eouch!" His tail hit the ceiling, hard. He grabbed it and rubbed gently, the other tails still pranced violently in the air.

"Oh dear, are you quite alright?" Sage asked. Palas looked up, "Yeah, its normal."

The fox sank back into his chair, placing his pen down. "So, if you are merely visiting here, how did you end up in these offices?"

"Ah, I asked some lady at some desk where the city hall was, you know, I was just looking around. I was going to take a picture of the city hall, I do of every city and stuff," Palas answered, and let go of his tail, which resumed lashing around. "Ah, sightseeing," Sage murmured. "Yeah, sightseeing! Next thing I know, I'm being pushed to this long line of folk who really look like they need a long night of sleep, and then, I'm here."

"Hmm, well," the fox sighed, and straightened out again, "If you do not wish a citizenship, you may take your leave. I will speak with the lady to prevent further mishaps. Most likely you were mistaken for a refugee, those whom you've seen outside the door." Sage smiled slightly, "Do have a good day in our city."

Palas was surprised he got off so lightly, and relaxed a bit. His tails calmed down, but still danced like little flames. "Alright then, ambassador. 'Twas nice meeting you!"

As the door closed behind him, Palas caught a glimpse of the icicles reappearing, and heard a voice call, "Next!" He sighed, "Should'a asked about that trick."

Palas aint no refugee. He got no time for a home in the first place, no sirree.
