Sometimes as an artist you stumble across girls who are absolutely, positively,….not in the slightest bit interested in modeling, but they model for you because there is something about the artist that they believe in. Well, that was the case with Neelum. She was on the softball team at the Savannah College of Art and Design where we both attended college. I talked her and her roommates into shooting with me and I am so thankful I got the opportunity! I bugged the hell out of her trying to get her more interested in modeling,….she really just didn’t want to make a career out of it.

It just makes me sick how you hear about some models being discovered on the streets for different fashion mags. I wonder who the hell the scouts are because they missed Neelum and a lot of the girls I know! But I think that’s what makes these pictures so special. Many of the girls I shoot are not professional models, but they could be, that’s the true beauty in this. So listen up people, you’re all beautiful,…..well,…unique!!!

this isnt her greatest expression, which is what most people criticize about this picture, but we had fun during this shoot. She was laughing the whole time. I will post happy ones too!
