Description The Bow-class corvette was a class of ships used by the UNSC in the years following the Human-Covenant war. At only 231 metres in length, the Bow-class was nonetheless heavily armed for its tonnage, and boasted speed and acceleration surpassing that of even the Remembrance-class frigate, making it substantially more effective than its diminutive size suggested.

Not to bad a ship for a species who come from a planet with a 78% water covered surface yet with a population who are 99.80.20% land lubbers. Tell me more about the cargo holds please? they always forget to tell about the cargo holds of their ships. Almost like they don't even know why they are called ships.

This is not a cargo ship, it is a war ship

still plenty of cargo it can carry, food, weapons, ammo, ship repair gear, troops, payloads, etc.

I believe that those go under the category of "provisions" not "cargo"

Of course, the term "payload" cam refer to cargo, or bombs

Fast agile and well armed..... That's three things that keep the people on the other side of the battle lines up at night.

I love the profile, it is well within the general style of the game ships but is fairly unique and distinctive.

Thanks for the praise of the drawing- the nicely thought-out design of course being credited to Isaac Hannaford

Any chance for a Valiant class Super-Heavy Cruiser.

Probably not, only because of the lack of reference material on it. I may do its successor though, which will be a battleship, which is basically what a 'super-heavy cruiser' is. Awful ridiculous classification, so annoying it's canon!

But it was the most powerful warships ever made.

That's debatable, and doesn't change the lack of material, or the silly classification.

Well every century new ones are added.

That's true. But a super-heavy cruiser is just a battleship.

Yeah or Battle cruiser.

SplinteredMatt In reply to Wisky-08 [2012-04-25 14:00:32 +0000 UTC]

Possibly yes, depending on things like its speed, armament and weaponry

Well I was thinking 4 MAC guns or 3 plus around 200 archer missile pods and over 50 point defense guns...and around 5 to 10 Shiva-class nuclear missiles.

Awsome Ship! Quick question: Since this ship is inventeted after the war; was it made with help from the elites?

Though I don't really like the idea, most likely yes- a combination of Elite/Engineer knowledge and tinkering with Forerunner gadgets.
