I was practicing drawing faces so decided to draw my main warden in Dragon Age Origins.
This is Salem Tabris, I probably told some of you about her already since I can't shut up about this game (Sorry) but here's her face. She's a city elf rogue, one that makes the good decisions but is angry and bitchy about it (looking at you, Nature of the Beast quest. I was so close to letting the werewolves dessimate the Dalish I swear)
I really like making the elves look as non-human as I can, so I tried copying the Dragon Age II design for her nose and gave her cat eyes. Their eyes canonically glow in the dark like a cat so why not? I think I got it? I still need to practice...
Reason for the veins sticking out so much. She drank the Alchemical Concoction that you find in the Warden's Keep DLC. I know it doesn't really change anything technically but that stuff gives you new abilities centered around your blood. You can't tell me it doesn't affect them somehow. I kind of headcanon it makes a warden look like they have the blight sickness but without the glazed eyes and obvious sickness. Just paleness (which is hard to tell since my warden's white as the fucking snow) and making the veins and arteries more pronounced they would.
She's also got bags since this is probably during the Blight so she's probably not able to get much sleep with the nightmares.
(Sorry about the shadows, I'm still getting used to the cam scanner app, I really would rather avoid using the scanner since its in my parents room and I don't want them to look through my sketchbook)
