ohhh i like these colours @w@ esp on the shells
the eyes seem... really disproportionate though
like the left is a lot smaller than the right
ive noticed you seem to make noses pretty long which squishes the mouth underneath it and i dunno if thats intentional or not but if you either shortened the nose or lengthened the face it would be more balanced! =w=

Yeah I saw that, with the eyes. In my head it was because the left one is farther away, but when I'm tired late at night, it's so much worse than that.
As for her other features I was trying my best to replicate how her face actually is as a child [link]
and with children I know that relationship between the mouth and chin help indicate age.
But I do have a problem in expressing noses, especially the bridge of it to the actual base/bottom. ;c

working at night has the opposite effect for me! i get more inspiration later in the evening, i dunno. anyway well you show with basically all your other drawings that you have really good facial anatomy, so i wouldn't worry too much =w=

Mine just varies but my eyes do start to blur over the later i stay up so i don't have the same mindset for it as i continue on. Heh. P:
