This month's community challenge theme is MORALITY. Black and white, good and evil, lawful and chaotic. The spectrum of morality has always been a hot topic in storytelling. What is your character's moral alignment? Do they believe they are a good person, or do they believe they're an evil monster of a wolf? How do they think others view them?

If you asked Logan if she believes that she is good, she would tell you that she's... trying to be. Her past is dark and riddled with sins, both those committed by her and by those who wronged her. The crone knows that she is no saint, and what she did to Diana and her children was heinous, but she isn't heartless. Logan believes that she is a monster, but she's determined to change, to leave the past behind and let love win out over hate. (Word Count: 86)

Lennart, on the other hand, would tell you that he is a good wolf. Everything he does, he does for the Tundes; the safety and happiness of the golden einar's packmates is paramount to his own, always. He upholds their laws and way of life dutifully, perhaps a bit too much. Len always gives the benefit of the doubt to any wolf he meets, but should they prove themselves a danger to those that he has sworn to protect... he will stop them by any means necessary. No matter the cost. (Word Count: 91)

I did a bit of an experiment in color and lighting for this piece. I wanted to have a more limited color palette, so I made Len and Logan black and white and used only shades of red for everything else in the piece >:} I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out!! I was tempted to go with solid white and solid black for the colors of the characters, but I think that having them be sliiiighty off from pure dark and light makes the symbolism of the whole thing work better. Logan is not pure evil, and Lennart is not pure good. They're both on different ends of the morally grey spectrum~
