Sorry it's been a while, have developed a decent backlog of projects but I just haven't been up to actually getting them posted here. It's gotten to the point where, because of some new details and techniques, I'm going back and updating ships I just made a few months ago. Beyond 2D stuff I have a few 3D projects to share as well, hopefully at some point in the near future.

This is an update & retrofit of an earlier work as a part of my "Operation: Southern Seas" project I'm working on, which will include most of my other previously worked on designs.

Background:

Following the conclusion of the Sailor's Rebellion of 1950 and the subsequent restructuring of the Navy, Ochasach would remain stationed at the port of Mulnst. She initially remained attached to Mulnst Coastal Defense Squadron 1, under which she had played a direct role in inciting the Rebelion along with her squadron mates Ai Viveka, Oddalin, Orlan, and Hana Lo'He. Due to the catastrophic dammage Ai Viveka, Oddalin, and Hana sustained during the rebellion it was decided that the squadron would be disbanded, and a few months into 1951 Ochasach and Orlan would be reassigned to the city of Iskhjalmr. The two would serve out of the port for the following years, protecting trade convoys to the allied nations of Maes Meigen to the west and Actinia around the continent's treacherous southern coast. She would undergo a modernization to improve her anti-air defense and sensor suite in 1952 with her profile being altered somewhat to more closely resemble the Iskhjalmr and Laegangr classes with the hopes of deterring would-be pirates.
In early 1955 she would sail to the small island of Sono Ho'omai in the Ho'ai archipelago for extended shore leave following deployment to Maes Meigen. Unbenownst to her, years of rising political tensions away from public eye were about to boil over, thrusting her into a fight for her life.
