Ah, another IXUS 70 user 😊
I love our little camera ☺
Though it does have difficulties with certain shades of purple, and low light settings.
Sometimes using Spot Measure works better.
I also do not post process my photos. Never found the need for it.

Very nice, forget-me-nots are among my favourite flowers! I really like how true to their colour you have captured these. It's always so great to find a set shaped like that, you were lucky, you don't see those often! When looking at your photo, I notice that it is lacking sharpness, but my main concern is the background. There's a lot going on down there, and it's not doing a very good job at isolating the heart shaped set of flowers that is your subject. The background is very light, and there's a ton of other forget-me-nots hanging out there, which are distracting from the subject. You could try to darken the background in your post processing software- this might take some practice to get it right, but it's something I also did for my forget-me-not capture here: L'amore Esiste . The background in mine was about as light as yours is now! It takes some fiddling, and it's hard to say what does and doesn't work per photo, but I would definitely recommend you try it out. The light that's on the flowers is just lovely, and again: good job on spotting these! They're not easy to find!

I love the way these flowers are actually in the shape of a heart! Since you submitted for feedback I do have a/a few suggestion(s) for you:

- Color. While it looks like there's a lot of natural color to these flowers, a touch more couldn't hurt. 
- Add a little bit of sharpness or adjusting as it looks like the photo is a touch blurred.

Otherwise, I think this was a lucky find and I love how nature goes about its ways. I hope this helps, and if you have questions, please ask!
