my first attempt with brushesdedicated to my loved one
i used several brushes is this work. i would gave credits to their owners but i really can't remember who they are. sorry

interesting work you've done there. That border is really good.
I would also agree that the wings should be opaque but still they have an excellent design. I personally would prefer color than b&w

Pretty great man!! Deffinitely awesome for a first attemp. My only suggestion is that you change the opacity of the wings because they are a little bit transparent (if you adjust the brightness of your screen, you'll see what I'm talking about). Congratulations for this wonderful work man!!
