Yay. Some of the Care Bear Cousins, like Loyal Heart Dog, never really took off.

Which is kind of sad. Never knew you liked the Care bear Cousins. What're your thoughts on them? Do you feel they should stay with the "Care bear Family"?

Absolutely. They covered feelings that the original Care Bears might have missed. I can think of a certain pegasus Pony who could relate to Loyal Heart Dog. In fact, some of the Cousins have pony equivalents: Treat Heart Pig = Pinkie Pie, Gentle Heart Lamb = Fluttershy, Proud Heart Cat = Rarity. Brave Heart Lion, whose bravery was sometimes displayed as false bravado in the Nelvana toons, is a little like Spike in that regard. So, yeah, once I got past the attitude of "Great, they're just a line extension for the original product," they were't bad at all.

Wait scratch that. Cause if they ever interacted with humans, it would be strange today. Though I would love to see that.

Paws down, based on the Nelvana animated series, my favorite Care Bear has to be Grams. She's kind, infinitely patient with the "little darlings," and unfailingly friendly and optimistic. If you want to know who comes in a close second, well, ask my avatar.

No I don't dislike them but there isn't a lot to like, either. They're sort of works-in-progress compared to everyone else.
