This picture is especially interesting considering that ScrewAttack had a "death battle" between these two characters.
Spoiler Alert: Tails wins.

In the newer games he's yellow. but in the older games,he was orange, in "AoStH"/"SatAm" he was brown.
Aosth stands for "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog"
SatAM stands for Saturday Morning

There will never be any greater VAs for them like those two dudes. We know that.

Actually, Tails' voice actor from "AoStH" might still be alive. It's Danny Well's from SMBSS that's dead.

Poor Dan. Sad to realize it was him that kicked the bucket. Well, at least, where he is now, he and Capt. Lou Albino will still be clearing clogged pipes... in that big Warp Zone in the sky. Rest and Peace, man.

I just heard the news and this is just plain sad. This picture is proof that we all need "Player 2" in our lives... and not having a "player 2" would make the game of life feel lonesome and empty.

You don't like the drawing? or are you referring to the death of "Danny 'Luigi' Wells" from "Super Mario Brothers Super Show"?

the death, of course death is sad but this pic is sweet and nice, plus nostalgic as well. I might watch Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog tonight.

No the video's about how it was ANOTHER Christopher Welch who died. Not the one who voiced Tails.

The Christopher Welch who died was born in 1965, so he was 28 when the show debuted. It's very clear that the Christopher Welch who did the voice of Tails was a kid when the show was made, so it's impossible that the one who died was the same one who was Tails' voice actor
The video may clarify more on this whole confusion.

Thank you so much for the info. I'm wondering. Should I delete my drawing of Tails and Luigi?

Two terrific actors. I liked Welch in The Master and Lincoln even though they were small roles.

BTW, The Christmas special of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog did not have Christopher Evan Welch as Tails. It was Bradley Pierce (who does Miles Tails Prower in the SatAM series on ABC). Bradley Pierce was best known for his role as Chip the Mug in Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

Thank you but incorrect. Bradley Pierce was not in the Christmas Special. Christopher Turner was Tails' VA in the Christmas special while Bradley Pierce only did SatAM.

Another Error I just want to let you know. Christopher Evan Welch did not do the voice of Tails. It was a child actor named Christopher Welch (who is still alive).

Yeah. It is sweet seeing these two together as friends/playful rivals, and not war mongers going at each others throats. Unless they're doing it for laughs.
