Galvatron seems to have gotten a little drunk...And No Im not gonna put any (C) to "blah blah blah" seeing as I only seem to get 'pity faves' merely because I've drawn someone elses thing, Jeez! It's kinda aggrivating and depressing Y'know!
besides you guys should know by now!..

Pity faves are like if someone did a picture of your OC so you're morally obliged to fave it ven if you don't like it or are never going to comment on it.

I know but It's just a bit hard/depressing when getting 5 comments a week is a god-send and that's only because you've drawn something that (can't think of a better word) panders to someones taste so they're more than likely to comment, Or do a drastic/b!tchy peice of art.

I fails at them too, but I try anyway, I always think that even if it's a sucky comment it show's you're trying to be supportive in some manner

It's 'RUN AWAAAAYYYYYY faves', dear. Not 'pity faves' - people just don't like to comment! Myself included. Commenting is for only when you have something witty to say, or are one of those annoying idiots who always say 'cool' or 'lol'. Ya have'ta get used to it, dear.

I know. But it gets really aggrivating when you put work into a piece of art and then someone just faves and doesn't even bother to say "thats nice" or leave constructive critisism, I mean how is anyone suppossed to improve as a artist or writer if they're just ignored and no one bothers to help or leave encouragement thats more the point of the mini-rant.
I even like it even if it is some dope saying "cool" to everything 'cos it means they're a dope who's actually bothering to say something nice and encouraging directly, I know getting a fave should also feel encouraging but for me Faves just don't do anything :/

Ah, I remember that phase. First comes the annoyance, then comes the 'you know what? I'm not doing this for anyone else - let them not comment if they want to, that's fine.'
The thing with comments is that, sometimes, people just don't have anything to say. Faves are more of a silent 'I like this!' than a outright, commented 'cool'. I like favorites, personally - they're almost as nice as a comment.
What you could do is, in the artist comment box, place something like this - . I personally don't know if it works any, but it seems to. As long as you comment on everything you favorite, you won't be a hypocrite!
