Description
Seep is a mass of oily, black liquid who typically takes the form of an average-sized cat. The specific anatomy of which, Seep can change at will.
Her form always appears slightly off to whatever it was previously, constantly shifting in self-conscious, subtle adjustments. Longer muzzle, bigger ears, smaller nose, shorter fur, thicker limbs… all shifted around and back again. What remains constant is a warped quality. There's an ever-present “off” feeling to her anatomy, how it bends and moves together… Uncanny valley might be the best term for it.
But her eyes, despite all adjustments and the subtle ebb and flow of her liquid coat, always have a sharp, unwavering gaze. She smells of brimstone.

Seep’s curse - as you could probably guess - is a form made up entirely of oil… or at least a rancid, black liquid very similar to crude oil. She can shift into any shape she chooses, from a literal puddle to a cat to an undefined blob, whatever. Limited only by size, because she can only work with the mass that makes up her body from the start.
Impact does not hurt her, though it can be disorienting. Seep can even be split up into as many tiny droplets as is physically possible, but still remain alive and able to reshape herself. She is very flammable, however, so you may adjust any plans for attempting to kill her accordingly.

No one but Seep really knows when she arrived in PAIN exactly. There was a point before Kill’s death where cats started to catch whiffs of sulfur tracing all about PAIN. But as far as anyone can tell, the first cat who ever saw her face was Love. After which, Seep has been lurking about in proper cat form in Love’s territory. Often right by Love’s side.

And it would be an understatement to say Seep was enamored by her. Hanging onto every word Love says like a lifeline, even as Love picks at her appearance or jabs at her smell. Despite being potentially Love’s most devoted follower and clearly a cat Love makes use of, Seep receives more of these little criticisms than anyone. To a point that Seep’s current form is in a constant state of trying to appeal to Love as much as possible. Or even seemingly just… look more like her.

Not that it bothers Seep at all. She'd do anything for Love.

Perhaps imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Seep acts very similar to Love to her fellow group members, and can seemingly have almost as much sway since Seep has prestige as being the closest to Love.

Not that this has stopped some petty squabbles from breaking out, ones that Seep tended to win by prying open all the insecurities she’s heard about whoever dared challenging her status. No one knows more insecurities ripe for prying than her. Well, except Love, of course.

Ever since Seep began following Love, she’s become a noted lurker in other territories. Stalking and listening. She’s exceptional at stealth, darting about and hiding in crevices. Her presence is given up only by her smell most of the time. And chances are, by the time you try finding where Seep was hiding, she’s already slipped far away.

Drip’s group is obviously the most bothered by her presence, and it’s an unofficial rule that if you smell Seep, you should immediately try to get a hold of her… or kill her if necessary. Drip isn’t a huge fan of the prospect of killing anyone without at least interrogating them first, but it really isn’t a stretch to assume Seep’s lurking is potentially dangerous to Drip’s group depending on how much slips back to Love… More reason to be careful when discussing plans, the most important of which are usually limited to being spoken about only in the deepest parts of camp.

Though, for whatever it’s worth, Love has been very quiet and seemingly unbothered if she has, in fact, gotten important intel… Either Seep has yet to hear any of it, or… Love may have more up her sleeve than Drip’s group realizes. This has only made Drip more wary of how and when to start enacting their plans.

Edit: Finally redid the shading from nearly the ground up. I think I've come to accept that Seep is probably always going to be a bit of a headache for me to render. Hopefully I'll someday figure out a simplified shading for her that I like, but for now I like how this complicated shading came out much better that what it was previously. -- Also I am hoping to get her lore finally done soon, so perhaps look out for that...
Edit 2: Lore! Pretty proud of how this one turned out after it took me so long to even start it. Anyway, I think Seep is an interesting character who only gets more interesting as the story goes on.

Hmm, I may touch up this drawing later, particularly the shading? I didn't want to rely too much on blending for these references, just to keep the designs on the simpler side, but I feel like I might need to use some blending for Seep.
