I had this drawn for a while, but didn't upload it because I honestly didn't have much character worked out. I still don't really have a full character, but I feel a little bad about not uploading recently, so I'm just gonna upload this guy.

His name is Tuff and I'm not sure if he's ever been out of the underground. He probably never interacts with others a lot and just goes on his own mining expeditions. Tuff's's kinda neurotic and doesn't like unwelcome guests going through his tunnels - and heaven forbid you start messing them up, because he'll have your head on a stalagmite when he finds out. (it's not IF he finds out either, because oh, he WILL find out)

He's not really so violent as to murder others - but he does get pretty mad if you mess with his stuff. Sometimes he'll just scare intruders away by making creepy noises and following them around until they leave.

Being underground and in the dark his whole life, Tuff's eyesight is abysmal. He can barely handle seeing bright lights as they hurt his eyes at this point, dirt and dust have probably damaged his eyes as well - and not to mention he's also colorblind.
His scales are really tough from being born and raised underground though and his hearing + sense of touch are extremely honed.

Tuff practically survives off eating dirt and gravel, and he doesn't actually care for the taste of bugs all that much. Tuff will also just eat anything around him when he's hungry - rocks, metal, jewels. In a way he probably has pica, and sometimes he'll just compulsively eat through these things. Thanks to all this, he's managed to figure out the difference between certain metals, rocks or crystals just through taste alone, which comes in handy in complete darkness.
Basically he can lick gems and know which one they are somehow.

In the few social interactions Tuff might get into, he usually just likes freaking everyone else out to see their reaction. Sometimes he'll start swiveling his head around to stare at someone and see if that creeps them out.

Anyway, Tuff is a TurfWing. And TurfWings is Vantribes. And Vantribes is should be looked at by you.
