Description
A small collection of some tertiary PAIN characters that I've come up with and drew out the designs for. Some may end up with minor role in the story, but honestly these guys are mostly here to fill up space while hopefully being interesting in the process.
Note: they are not to scale with each other here, because I didn't do any resizing from their original resolutions. Real sizes would probably go in order of (smallest to biggest) Tick, Dire, Pelt, Hand, then Nick.

Pelt is a long-time member of Bear's group.
Pelt's curse has given their consciousness to an animate tanned cat pelt (which was probably their original pelt, at first.) They can take parts from another cat's pelt after they've died to repair any damage or if they wanted swap a part out for whatever reason. Pelt is incredibly light on account of being empty of anything but skin and fur, as well as incredibly weak and easy to push around. They've dug thorns through their paws as at least some kind of weaponry, although their best defense in confrontation is honestly just the fact it's incredibly hard to kill them. Ripping them apart is easy, sure. But as long as one shred of consciousness remains. Pelt is able to put themself back into working order eventually.
Their voice is hollow, and always whispery.

Hand... Hand is.... a member of Fear's group... he's been around for a while, but no one's sure exactly when he showed up in PAIN.
His curse is... is..... something horribly malformed.... strange and unnerving...,. where his paws should be.................... Hands......................
Truly one of Fear's most exemplary members in regards to the pillar's namesake...

Tick is a member of Love's group, entering PAIN on the more recent side of it's history. She awkwardly shuffled into Love's group after falling for even just the hint of acceptance that the pillar gave to her, hook-line-and-sinker.
Tick's curse is that she must feed off the blood of other cats to survive (technically she could drink the blood of other animals, but the Prey in PAIN don't have blood so.) She's incredibly nervous and ashamed about the whole act of blood-sucking, and can't bring herself to endure the awkwardness of asking for permission to do so. Thus, she resorted to simply doing it in secret, while the other cat is asleep or in some cases has recently been made dead. And if the other cat gets accusatory regarding the notable bite mark and inflammation afterwards, Tick will simply deny that it was her up until her very death. "Yes, my name is Tick! No, I do NOT bite other cats and drink their blood!" It may be far from worst curse in PAIN, and plenty of cats honestly wouldn't even care about it - but it's a truth Tick desperately wants to avoid... Even if she's a bad liar.
The one silver lining is that she can go weeks between feedings, at least. And also no type of blood is deadly to her (like Drip's for example.)

Dire and Nick (Lumped together because they're kind of inseparable despite what they may claim) are both fairly new, yet formidable members of Fear's group.
Dire's forelimbs are cursed with the ability to phase through bodies and objects at will. Useful for striking through pelts and directly at an opponent's organs for quite a "dire" hit. Unfortunately part of his curse is that his claws are permanently dull and almost soft, so he's actually less deadly than you'd initially think. That said, a punch directly into your gut still hurts like hell, so.
Deftly dodging and then swiftly stunning opponents into submission is Dire's style.
Nick's curse is a full-proof coating of razor sharp metal. He's slower and much less flexible than most cats thanks to the permanent armor, but incredibly well defended from most cats even by PAIN standards. Even his eye's have enhanced durability. Your best bet is to try striking between the razor sharp plating and fur, but there's no way you won't get nicked in the process. And one luckily timed jerk to the side from Nick could cost you some toes in the process.
Nick's style is much less coordinated, as he can basically just barrel into most opponents and win. (unfortunately his organs are still fleshy, meaning Dire is one of the few cats who can even hurt Nick)
Okay from here I would go on to explain Dire and Nick's silly rivalry that borders on flirting despite them both being too stupid to realize that. But I gotta be honest and just say that I came up with these two listening to Knife Fight by Lemon Demon and I think just listening to that song sums them up more succinctly than I ever could.
