i like this very much as well, but i would have to disagree with you about the legs. i think the leg in the front looks fine, and even the calf in the back is fine, but that thigh is just a bit too thin and withered looking. especially since it's not in the same style as the rest of the piece. still, the rest is pretty kickass

see taht was my problem that they are conflecting styles.. but it did grow on me for some odd reason, like i enjoy that awkwardness of the 2 coming together, though a part of me still wants to see the top part of the image to continue as is and complete the image. But I have a rule of not going back into life study images as I tend to like to keep them in teh moment the over working or destroying (which i've done that alot of times). Though adding effects in photoshop do make it a nice touch.. course teh drawing will always remain as is even if i put color into it.

i respect that. makes the drawing much more imidiate. the leg becomes the focus in my opinion though, and it's stealing attention away from some really beautiful drawing. but whatever, i'm sure there'll be more where this came from

Very nice style and great color combination. Reminds of posters from Paris in the late 19th, early 20th century.

hehe, well calling it milk miad.. and teh stance can be domestic. Not liek i'm doing anything too revolutionary with teh figure other then the way i interpert it and translate it on paper. Other then that I just have a nude guy/my good friend in front of me, as we joke and talk about life. Shame the conversations never come in.. but they tend to be domestic too.. well as domestic as a Chan and her friend's conversations can be. hehe. We're an odd bunch I tell you.
Course my presentation is highly modern, so that were me and Vermeer part ways. Silly Vermeer.

Like i've said before, les in your artwork stand out. These are quite twisted, though, very strange. I like the chosen medium, the character study looks like it was drawn in one straight sketch, as if you didn't lift the charcoal. The work has a great look, not one of my favorites, but another glimpse at your versitility.

Ah, good 'ol half asleep. Does that mean half of your face is paralyzed? Or are you doing the sudden nod off, slam your head on the desk quickly wake up with a jolt only to be conscious for another five minutes until repeating said head banging?
