....................
I hear the words critical mass and immediately my mind goes to Honey I Shrunk the Kids.
Is that weird?

I like the change in look, though it's not a very big one. He hits all the right notes to look like a gentleman thief, which is ideal as he was designed to. I notice he lacks his gem now, have you done away with that aspect of his character? It wasn't my favourite thing about classic Kilroy but it was a fun touch to display his origins and true nature. Honestly the coattails look good, Dovetailed coats are always a must for oldegents and they flap about so dramatically.
I'd say if I had a single hindrance at all it's that his costume is slightly TOO bright around the trimmings and inside of his coat. I mean if he's still a fairground attraction that makes sense but having taken away the gem I assume he...isn't? I could be wrong, totally. But with the way he looks and the lack of the gem makes me think he wants to be more stealthy and while the design is fantastic- the colours are very easy on the eyes, I would say they might catch the light too well....but then again that's half the fun of the gentleman part of gentleman thief, innit?
One should only commit acts of larceny while dressed in the very best of fashion.Β

Oh! That reference sheet was actually an april fool's post. .w. Castle of Nations isn't my story, that pic was just sort of a fun AU thing I did, like "what if he was part of that theme park?".
Kilroy's actually a human character that I've had for years before then, and I've been working on a story for him for a webcomic I wanna make at some point! Sorry for any confusion.

Oh dear me that's entirely my mistake then! I saw the old reference sheet and made a drastic assumption, my bad my bad.
I must say I am very interested in the character, I too have a lust for thief characters and playing around with them. Most of my writing centers on one. So I will have to say that I will be paying attention to Kilroy and if there is anyway I can help you bring this idea to fruition you must tell m.e

Haha, it's fine. XD I probably could've made it more clear.
Thank you! I'll certainly keep that in mind. He's definitely proven to be an interesting character so far, developed a lot since I first made him. Can't wait to finally write him in something.

Yeah, originally it was all one big piece of fabric, kinda like a trenchcoat sort of thing, but it didn't seem to be the most practical for running and acrobatics. XD ;

I think I do remember it as one big piece of fabric. Β It can work but I do agree it feels more fitting (and looks snazzier too).
