Hey there!I'm back with my second tutorial! Were going back a little though with this one on teaching the basics in photoshop.
I've put this tutorial together for everyone and anyone new to photoshop or still not sure where certain things are and what all those crazy windows are for.
If the interface of Photoshop looks different from yours it's because I'm using version CS2, and you may have an older version, but you can still find most of the tools and windows in the tutorial so don't panic too much
.I plan on contuing with the tutorial so stay tuned if you want to learn more.
This includes: cleaning lineart(line paper, color paper, line paper), layers, Filters, advanced coloring.
I hope this tutorial was helpful.
I spent at least 3 hours on it x_x which is pretty long for me. I didn't plan on spending this much time but got into it as I was making it

Yeah you have to click the download link but it usually opens it in a new tab so you can view the actual file size.

that's good to hear! When I first came here I was very shy, I was always really happy and greatful when artists would reply back.
Now that I'm out in the art field I understand why a lot of artists were MIA. They were swamped by their art jobs, haha.
I try to be as present as I can because I want to be more present in the community and help other growing artists in any way I can ^_^

Aww I try to draw for the artists sometimes but only the ones that like my art but draw a ton and get nothing in return.
It annoys me to see requesters commissioners believe that they can mooch a free request off people :U

i use Microsoft paint...
does photoshop requires paitents like drawing the brush with the mouse? i would like to use curve lines :\ but i cant find it.

If you're painting with a mouse in any program with the brush tool it's going to take time and patient.
To draw curves you can use the Pen tool which is to the left of the font text tool in photoshop. Microsoft paint doesn't have a tool to draw curved lines though

well i knew this but i didnt know how to use it thanks! oh one thing though the gradiant tool is much easier to use and much more usefull if you use it in a diffrent layer from the orriginal layer your trying to color color the layer make a new layer gradient it the same color then then use the opacity and fill tools withe the gradiented layer under the orriginal layer untill its just right...
but u may have known this alredy it is a little complex for this tutorial lol...

make sure you are saving it as a "jpeg,jpg" file and not a "psd"
When you go to file>save as, you have to select it under the file type

to get smooth lines you want to have nice quick strokes. I use different brush sizes every time so I can't really give a specific size I use, because it changes with every drawing
