Just another piece from my archives guys. I have to put request projects on hold until Friday. I ran out of my 'flesh tone' colors, for those who want their pics in color.

Anyways, I love the expression on Gwen's face! It's like "I feel so bad for you but I'm glad it's not me.." But if I were her, I would havev put my hand on the *other* shoulder. Haha, anyways TERRIFFIC job once again!
Oh, question! Okay, what do you use for the "flesh colors" as mentioned before? I was just wondering, coz it always looks...well...like skin and I can never do that!!!

The flesh color?.... Hehehehehehe.... Heres my secret.... It comes with the big box of crayola colored pencils... LOL! I have the good colored pencils as well. But it never comes with the flesh color... So, that's why I buy the crayola ones... LOL! Simple. It does get the job done. Since I work with just pencils, I use my mechanical pencil for the shading around their faces, etc. It just makes it more realistic with the flesh coloring.

Hmm, I think I'm gonna go buy Crayola pencils now! Usually I never really color in my sketches, but I've been really wanting to lately so thanks for letting me in on the "secret"!

Crayola rocks! And there inexpensive, but work just the same in my eyes. So why spend gobs amount of $$$$ when you can just get those, and have the same results?! And your SO welcome hun! Anytime.

I do agree, Crayola is pretty awesome. I usually use this set of "Artist's Loft" colored pencils that I have whenever I sketch. They're pretty neat, almost like Crayola, just smoother in my opinion......and they make me feel professional! Hahahaha!
But I might want to go get another pack of Crayola. Apparently the last box I got...which was like a year ago..did not have any flesh colors. Grrrr.

I have another set of pencils that I use too. Can't think of the name off hand. There a great set. I kinda mix the two brands together in my drawings for certain areas of the picture. Eh, it works for me!

Oh by the way, the way it effects Danafayans is that it messes with how their bodies regulate temperature. They get severe chills along with the sneezing and coughing, in fact the chills get so bad that they even get a light blue tint to their skin. Anika ends up curled up under a heavy blanket or in Ben's arms unable to get warm, shivering so bad she stutters when she talks, sneezing off and on, and of course literally looking a little blue. o.O LoL
