Description Two uploads in one night, what is becoming of meeee.

Was aiming for a style slightly more realistic than my usual normal style. I wanted to work with a face I had a decent mental image of to not need refs, and was unique enough. It was a fun practice! The watercolour tool and me can only be friends once a month; any more than that and we start having too many problems with one another.

This is how you picture Ygritte? I mean the book does says her teeth is crooked and her eyes a bit apart but damn, I can't picture Jon Snow with this version (O_o)

Artistically, I both like seeing and drawing less idealized versions of people, and i like to enunciate certain features, sort of how you would a caricature (if you've seen anything else in my asoiaf gallery, this is one of my mildest pictures). personally i find quirky looking people more attractive; i don't picture jon as stereotypical attractive either. sorry you don't think this version is 'good' enough for him, but hey, different strokes for different folks!

yeah, the show makes everyone prettier, just like Ramsay or Jorah... pretty people are easier to look at I think this is a great representation of Ygritte and I love your art in general!

I absolutely love your version of Ygritte! I imagine her having a wild mane of hair, like toned-down Merida (Brave) hair almost!

I'm curious, is this really how you imagined she would look like?

Based on the book description, and beyond having a bit of exaggeration for the art style, yep!

Aaahh, interesting. She doesn't really have a face in my head. For some reason I can only picture her hair! Her features seem a blur to me. Love the series, great job!

Awesome drawning, though I have the slightest feeling that you don't like Yggrite...

Sarcasm? XD I really like Ygritte and how she's visually described, that's why I draw her so much.

That hair is amazing.

Yeah, I never use the watercolor tool either. I can never quite figure out how to get it so that it makes me want to use it. Which means I'm probably doing it wrong.

Thanks!!

Man I'd really like to talk to someone who did fully understand OCs watercolour tool sdfgksg Everyone I've met who uses it seems to have the same kind of mixed feelings. But I can't really complain about a free program...don't think I did any better in the ones I've paid for.
