Stellar is the male and Jay the female.

These are, ofc, the children of Zayd (in a time after he killed his pack) and a random she-wolf that Zayd likely either raped or had a "one night stand" with.

At first, these wolves know nothing or their heritage - that they are descendants of the then legendary "Devil Wolf" (a.k.a Zalt). That is, when one night Zayd does make a remarkable return to see his children and demand they be taken with him, that they'd become a lot more powerful and 'useful' traveling with him. Their mother refused, chasing Zayd away and then revealing to her pups that Zayd was indeed the father but that she'd be there to protect them from Zayd. That Zayd was extremely corrupt and evil, fueled by the burning bloodlust of his demonic blood. Zayd's own father was once a legendary and powerful wolf, the leader of one of the largest packs of the land, before it suddenly vanished (she didn't know Zayd was the one who killed them). Stellar, being the 'tough' one of the pups, grew to want to gain power, to gain ranks in his own pack to become its leader to live up to Zalt's legacy and possibly kill his father. Stellar became goaded by a demon, which the demon promised to unlock his own dormant - although very diluted - demon blood at the cost of his soul, to serve the demon. Jay, realising how her brother became just as evil as their father, plotted to kill Stellar before he could carry out the task of murdering the alpha of their own pack. She and Stellar fought and Jay overpowered her brother, ending his life.
