Apophysis 2.04betaI absolutely adore this.. I gasped when I saw it fresh from rendering. I did a very, very minimal amount of editing to this. Don't know what all to say about it. Full view is a MUST with this one, please.

Yes, I wanted it to be cut like a fan. I love the broken-up effect it gives the piece.
Do you not realize that a fractal is a repetition of the same basic forms repeated over and over, just changed slightly or greatly, depending on what you tell it to do? It'd be lazy to leave it exactly the same, an nontheless, boring.
I don't want other artists to learn from me, I'd rather them be inspired. You are quite harsh about the repetition, because that's what a true fractal is.

I'm sorry if I was to harsh. I do know that a fractal is about repetition in itself, but not just distorted copies. This one simply didn't strike me as such. It is contrary to your other "heart" works, where the shape of a heart reappears. but nevcer the in the same way. They all had different patterns throughout.
Maybe I'm just overly critic, but it's my thought.
