Unlike Deerrun, Snappaw has her dad in the clan, and she is quick to tell him what happened when he asked. Both Ferntail and Quickfoot berate Borageskip for her temper. With this evidence, Ryestar is called. He agrees to punish Borageskip, removing her from mentor ship duties, thus denying her any opportunity of become deputy and there for any opportunity to become leader as well. She is also put on strict boarder patrol for the next six moons. (Something I did play through.) The clan is not happy about what Borageskip did, but they also know her personality. She is naturally hotheaded being so vengeful, and not very patient. While she had a right to try and be a mentor despite this, she also had a right to reject the offer. Poor Snappaw paid the price. However with the promise of no future apprenticeships for Borageskip and the fact the she was very forthcoming about what she did, the clan uneasily decided to wait and see what happens in time. However the she-cat is on very thin ice for the time being.

Ferntail, getting on in age, offers Snappaw an apprenticeship with him. After talking with her dad, she decides to accept.
