im on a roll wit dese guys. i feel like somethings could be improved in the pic but for the most part i like the turnout! im most proud of buster and the boy under him! how did this happen!! who is that dalmatian!!!?? buckle in children its headcannon time, this is a long one

Ok so… Buster from LATT2 has always been sort of a weird character for me. I like his character alot but... Like, I understand he feels very much betrayed by the Tramp, choosing to live the ‘cushy pillow life’ with his new, permanent love. Is that why he hates house dogs though? Really now, what's so great about being a street dog? You could argue that throughout the film they brag about how street dogs are ‘free’ and if you live in a house ‘you aint a real dog’. It just doesn’t feel that strong… they just brag about living among trash but hey, at least you can run free?? Thats just a Disney sequel for you.
I think he acts more like a jealous lover than anything, I think the story would have been a bit stronger if Buster was replaced by one of the Tramps previous girlfriends. Buster gets so animated talking about Lady… I think it was less about Tramp leaving the junkyard to live in a house, but that Buster truly looked up to and was very attached to him… love perhaps? But the Tramp is a heartbreaker, and I think Buster, out of all of the previous lovers the Tramp had, was hurt the most; and is terribly jealous that he picked the naive ‘the queen of the kennel club’.
So after the events of the sequel, Buster is just beside himself with lovesickness and frenzied anger, but I don’t really think anydog would bat an eye at the crazy imposing doberman. Besides to get away from him. When he tries to kick out a scruffy dalmatian with a rough looking collar; the dog is not phased. “These is MY streets, dame! House dogs ain’t welcome around here. While you’ve been sleeping on carpets, gettin’ya back scratched-” the opposing dog stops him in his tracks. She struts up to the doberman and huffs in his face, “You over hear braggin about living in garbage? You’re trash aint all that valuable to me, you can keep it, honest. And don’t call me dame, call me Pepper.”
Pepper is one of the original 15 dalmatian pups born to Pongo and Perdy. I made little 101 Dalmatian stories as a kid, and Pepper was always the bully/outcast, like Mooch but with more of a jokester, silly, immature front. She especially loves to pick on Lucky and Cadpig, perhaps as runts they were tended to more than Pepper was, and Pepper just resents having to share her parents. It gets worse with 84 more siblings. She likes her own company, has no interest in socializing with her adoptive and blood siblings; preferring to annoy them by biting their tails and subjecting them to mean pranks. No one finds them funny. Pepper is pretty much just a thorn in everyone's side; often Pongo and Perdy compare her to her siblings, which she despises. In reality, she feels like a misfit at the farm; she is unhappy and knows no one really likes her. She prides herself on being self reliant, and independent, so she leaves the farm as a young adult.
And so, she comes across Busters infamous junkyard… it’s just him and his trash. He is impressed by this house dogs’ ability to stand up to him, after all these months, no one has really even talked to him. He allows Pepper to come and go as she pleases, while he watches this former house dog prove herself on the streets, stealing food, avoiding dog catchers and dealing with other strays. Buster finds himself comparing him to his former love, the Tramp. She even talks and walks like him sometimes! Laid back yet mischievous, confident…. Gorgeous in a raggedy sorta way. Buster forgets his vendetta against house dogs and approaches Pepper with the thought of banding together, and Pepper agrees. Soon, Buster is showing her all the best joints in town, where to stay clear from… the best place to watch a sunset. Buster feels his love for the Tramp fade, replaced by the desire to become closer to Pepper. He loves her headstrong, independent attitude and she ain't bad looking either. Pepper at first isn't head over heels for Buster but he's the first one to really appreciate her and loves her for who she is... and gives her the undivided attention and love she has always craved. Pepper contently bears him 3 children, Mace, Lilac and Aji.
Now for the kiddos:

      Mace

Buster knew the moment he laid eyes on Mace; he knew this pup would be a worthy heir to his junkyard throne. Big, hardy with a dark doberman coat; all the workings of an imposing street dog like himself. Mace’s got a gruff, slick voice and a love for mischief; a real smooth, streetwise pup. Sadly for Buster, Mace doesn’t inherit his vindictive, cruel need to hurt others to come out on top. He’s much more of a laid back, upbeat pup who isn’t out to hurt anyone; besides dog-catching humans. He’s actually known to help dogs captured by said people out of the kindness of his heart, his passion for soft music (howls at the moon) and for his value of loyalty and creating bonds by sweet talking with his fellow canines instead of fighting them for territory. Forgiving and will often gives those a second chance. And that’s not what being a junkyard dog is all about.
In some ways he’s kind of a sissy, in Buster's eyes anyway.
Lilac
A mute little pup that comes off as innocent, almost adorably clueless. It’s all an act. She’s surprisingly sneaky and intelligent; the master of learning through observation. It’s almost too easy to manipulate others into doing whatever she wishes. Who can resist those eyes and sweet fawn colored coat? Lilac is a total daddy's girl and is proud to prove to him just because she can’t speak she can hold her own. She and Mace are relatively close as well, Mace is a tad protective of her, but he knows what she’s capable of. Aji irritates her to no end and loves to cause trouble for him.
Aji
Your annoying younger brother. Loves to worm his way in whatever his poppa is doing; Buster is the coolest, most awesomest street dog in his eyes. Everything he does is usually an effort to get Buster to notice him and make him proud. Sadly for him, his constant bluffing often gets him into fights he’s too small and weak to win. Aji is a total tattletail; screeching to dad how Mace is hanging out with the daughter of Scamp or how Lilac pushed him into a can of trash. He’ll go on and on about how evil and cursed his mute sister is, but no one believes him. He’s a pain in Buster’s side and will often ignore Aji in favor of his doll baby girl Lilac or Mace; the one he obviously sees himself in. There’s certainly a sibling rivalry dynamic going on here. Aji knows how much pop hates Scamp and his dad, but the only pup who is willing to hang out with him is Taylor, Scamps other daughter. She basically treats him like a lackey.
