The design is really very cool. And I think that your craftmanship and precision completely compliment that design. Nice work!

I like the flowing curves of it, really interesting form What made you decide to make it this way?

thanks you very much. the form was a result of the project requirments in a way. we had to use plywood and no more than 3 sheets. all parts had to be routed on the cnc router, and it had to store flat (ala ikea). there are 5 different pieces and i decided that using a repetitive design would be most efficient. other than that formaly i like curvy furniture so i went with that and guessed at the ergonomics. some say it is comfortable some say its not, i think those who say its not are lying though connected with 7 threaded steel rods and bolts.

Thats really nice, you should try and make a rocking chair.

i think it looks comfortable...IKEA should distribute it , for self montage, with 2000 single pieces

great shape! Is it comfy?
Does it stand even on the ground?

thank you! it is not really very comfortable. to be honest it feels fine until the upper back where it fades away and there is no support. it is good in terms of height and reclined angle i think, it is just too short i guess. and yes it is even and stable on the ground. thanks for the comment and the fav much appreciated!

oooo interesting. Is it comfy? Looks like a nice chair to sit in outside, but that would require you to stain and poly it.

not comfy. ergonomics were completely ignored in favor of form. to be honest it was more of a manufacturing project based on learning solid works and transfering it to be cut on the router.
