Description This is the guitar I left behind for finishing and repairs before I started traveling (artwork completed 9/21/08). Now that I've a got a brief break in the action, I present it for your perusal. Enjoy.

The artwork was done with black sharpie, the guitar is a Stenzler model TS4NS, or Trinity River Stallion. I like the sound very much; the lacquering and finishing process doesn't seem to have affected its tone.

P.S: Also, many thanks to M & M Music Merchandisers (AKA Kona and Trinity River Guitars) in Fort Worth, TX for donating the guitar from B and/or C stock. If you guys are reading this; I'm very sorry that I never got a guitar with artwork back to you, and also very sorry that I destroyed the other two you gave me from the warehouse . . . it's a long story.

Very nice! Does it stain smudge at all while playing it? or did you give the guitar a special finishing treatment after the inking?.. did you roughen up the surface aswell? Looks amazing

Very crisp and clean and a definate eyecatcher.

Kudos to your patience.

Was it sketched in pencil first or was this spontaneous goings-along?

This took about 30 hours of drawing, and a week or so of "work". I didn't sleep much. Thanks!!

How playable is the guitar afterwords? Do you put a clear coat on top to keep it from smudging?

Thank you! I owe the inspiration to a "friend" of mine. If you want to see more details of it then check back. I'm still uploading pics. : )
