I portray the scene of a damaged forest caused by cruel human action. In the middle, a western Indian girl steps into a gate of trees which leads to a new and beautiful green world ahead. Her doe accompanies her. The doe represents the spirit of the forest. Flowers named “Star of Bethlehem” grow in front of the gates, welcoming the girl. The flowers symbolize “Hope”.
