Hey Cao, I think I'd really like to give this beautiful boy a personality. Would that be awful of me since it's not standard?

Whether or not you would add it to the description is up to you, but I would still like to put one here. (I've got most of this typed now and I'm realizing this is more of a background than a personality. xD It sounds more like the story I wrote for Soldier way back at the beginning. Maybe this is a sign that I'm at a special point in my journey here at the Springs, this boy means quite a lot to me.)

Personality/Background: A Prairie Gryphon with nothing more or less than love to give, Löytyi was once very, very lost. He was a wanderer in the Grasslands, a lover by nature, not a fighter. At some point in Löytyi's life he realized something was missing. He'd been quite the social Prairie Gryphon with his friends out in the fields, but no matter how many friends he seemed to acquire, it was never enough. Something needed to fill a void in his heart, but what could it have possibly been? He had no clue, because even in a crowded place the young Gryphon would always feel exceedingly lonely.

Then one day he had spotted the source of his loneliness, a human sitting and waiting for what had appeared to be..well, he didn't quite know, exactly. But as he sniffed at the air, he smelled something that drew him near, and came to investigate. Such sweet grass was meant for Standard Gryphons, not Prairie Gryphons like himself, and so when he had approached the grass he'd been shoo'd away by the human and her pet. They weren't looking for him, they wanted a Standard Gryphon in their family. It was that simple, and so Löytyi was sent back into the fields to wander some more, but now, at least, he a purpose. He had to find a human.

There were many days, weeks, months that went by for Löytyi, where he desperately wondered just what his human would look like, or if he would ever be lucky enough to find one. Wasn't he beautiful? Couldn't he have caught anyone's attention? The more time that passed him by, the less worthy he felt of the companionship of a human. So when he'd finally found the boy he'd been waiting for, he hadn't quite believed it. He had instead chosen to sit stock still, staring at the boy who was also staring back. As he watched, three of the boy's companions poked out of the grasses behind him, revealing that the boy, in fact, had a Standard Gryphon, and a Gryphione as well. He also had a Lhedis with him. Ah what good creatures, Lhedis. Löytyi had always been quite fond of them, but this meant the boy had companions, and so he stood with a sigh, turning and hanging his head as he began to walk away.

It was when a soft voice behind him spoke that he stopped. "H..Hey wait, don't..don't leave.." The Prairie Gryphon, in wonder, picked his head up and turned his perked ears towards the boy, who was slowly approaching him. "I..I saw you the day that girl..w..went out here looking for a Gryphon. A..A lot of us saw you, we watched you walk back into the Grasslands and disappear..I.. I always wondered when you'd come back, if I'd see you again. I..I'm not out here on an Exploration and I don't have anything to give you, I'm just having some fun with my friends here, but.. I mean.. W..Would you like to come home with me? This little girl here is Padura," he said to the Prairie Gryphon quietly, pointing at the small Gryphione who was sitting on top of his Lhedis. "And the pretty girl she's riding is Elysia, she's really playful, if you like to play.." He then pointed to his other side. "And this boy here, this is Zoran. He's a little more on the serious side but I think you could..maybe be friends?" The Standard Gryphon by his side stared at the currently unnamed Prairie Gryphon, snapping his beak and making a couple noises in curiosity. "S..So..what do you say? Come home with me? My name's Kyler..I promise I won't hurt you..we'll have lots of fun together, if you want.. I was hoping I'd see you again."

The Prairie Gryphon didn't know what to do. He stood there for a moment, quite a bit shocked. Was this boy really talking to him? He looked around momentarily, turning a full circle to look for anyone else he could have been talking to instead. When there was no one the Prairie Gryphon realized he wasn't just imagining what was happening, a human had offered him a home. He let out a happy noise and snapped his beak before running at the boy, a wide smile on his face. The blond-haired human knew on instinct the creature wasn't charging at him, and he knelt and opened his arms for the Gryphon to run into.

This was exactly what he did, and he buried his face in the boy's neck as the boy did the same back, rubbing his back and neck fur gently as he embraced the beautiful creature. "We'll call you Löytyi," he said quietly as he held the Gryphon in a tight embrace. "It's a Finnish word, it means 'found,' because you've finally found a home, my little one, and I couldn't be happier for you. For both of us. For all of us." The boy pulled back a bit and brought his forehead together with the Prairie Gryphon's, stroking his cheek fur happily as he cupped his face. He had a few tears in his eyes, Löytyi noticed, but he was giggling a bit. They were happy tears.

His friends at home came to give him the nickname Löy, and the boy reminded him daily how beautiful he was, how much he was loved. Löytyi stopped remembering at some point that there was ever a time that he was lonely, and has made plenty of friends along the way. Löytyi found exactly what he needed, and in doing so, he found himself, as well.

Giraffe! Oh man that is awesome lol I wish I owned a Gryphon ad Gryphione to have a chance to for this beauty! Good luck to anyone who gets him!
