Harley started out like most Porygon, a program on the computer that took form. Each Porygon is programed with different purposes, and Harley was designed to analyze sonar data. She had no real personality at the time and merely followed her programming.
An up-grade to the computer a few years later resulted in Harley evolving into a Porygon2. She became faster at analyzing the sonar data, but also became more self aware. When ever she wasn't being used to analysis, she would search the net and that were she became interested with Sound waves, Music.
Another few years passed and it was decided to try something new, a disc unauthorized by Silph Co but said to make Porygon2's evolve. With smarter, faster Porygon-Zs their research could only benefit! Or so they thought. Harley's evolution into a Porygon-Z came with the realization she didn't want to analysis sonar data anymore, that she wanted to do something of her will, so she left by escaping though the net.
Harley's musical interests lead her to a place of concerts, musical theater, and night clubs. Nimbasa City was a place of entertainment for pokemons and humans alike, somewhere she could live and meet new people. Naming herself Harley after being inspired by the mad beats of the enigmatic username DJ-Harley42, she left the internet and took on the physical world for the first time. But it soon turned out that she wasn't going to get far with little to nothing bell/money. Things were slow, but once Harley found a job at the Musical Theater it was easier to earn up some bell/money for a Porygon who don't need to eat or drink to survive. As for a place to live? Harley lived in cyberspace until she had enough money earned to rent an apartment.
Harley at the age 20 had finally gotten a stable life going on, she wasn't rich but she wasn't poor ether. She used her extra bells either to buy programs for her laptop or go to the night clubs. Harley loved hanging out at the Night Club and meeting new people after a lifetime of knowing only other Porygons in cyberspace.
The club though was closed down due to the activity of some drug dealers around it. Harley was sad, but she soon decided to go somewhere small, where her favorite hang outs would never be closed by crime.
Sadly Pokette town didn't have much to offer, and maybe one day Harley could fix that, but it's nice to be somewhere less crowed for once.
