My position on the war on Iraq is irrelevant, the fact of the matter is we never stop. We as Americans have the right to free speech, to abuse this right is to take it away. I respect the opinons of others, but it is just getting rediculous. Everywhere I turn I see nothing but hatred because of the opinons of others.No one wants to see soldiers die, and the best thing we can do is hope that our boys and girls come back safely. Instead of fighting eachother, why can't we just agree to disagree and pray for our servicemen and women.
I for one protest the protest.

When I was in San Fran during protest, people of the city ignored them for the most part and were even yelling at them! It was funny to see a lady in a dress suit, walk over a protestor while she was on cell.............

I've been having trouble trying to come up with an appropriate response in relation to this picture. This picture is very symbolic and speaks volumes, almost. I really think America is this close to becoming a shattered union now.
Online I am putting up with angry Europeans just because of my beliefs; they over-react to everything I say and automatically throw names and labels at me, and keep saying I'm "ignorant". Basically, they don't even read everything I say; they just catch some parts and flip out about them.
In real-life, my relatives despise my family (consisting of my mom and my older brother; my dad's been divorcing us, even financially, since December 1999), and are screwing us over because of our beliefs. I was also kicked out of college last week for looking at a picture of a gun (guns are a political issue anymore).
All this because of a mere politician. I think blaming everything on George W Bush, which is what everybody is doing (not to say you are), is very childish. But I'm just one person who thinks so, and I am surrounded by hundreds who single me out and easily "outsmart" anything I have to say.
I voted for Bush because I had the right to. I believed he was the right choice. And now I'm receiving shit just because I exercised the right to choose my nation's leader. Even if Kerry won, he'd still be my president. I may not agree with some of his views, but I'd accept the fact that he's president.
I was going to travel the world some day, but now it's unsafe to. Not because of terrorists, or not JUST because of them.....but because of my nationality. Just being an American is unsafe, even in so much as my neighborhood.
I keep trying to think, "America will endure", but more and more, day after day, I feel like I'm being proven wrong. My wish of us "just getting along" cannot come true because we, the human race, are all just hating each other. And anything I say is considered "hate".
I really don't know what to believe in anymore. Anything I THINK is wrong. It's bad enough to have a lifestyle in which my existence is deemed "wrong".
It's moments like this that I just feel like dying...

I agree, also about guns being a issue, I seem to remember when that killer back east was shooting people at the university, it was students who went for the guns they owned in thier cars to stop and kill the guy, he would have done more damage.

Those are two quotes my pro-war friends throw at me all day. I like your deviation a lot. Good job. Just the guy in the mask looks a bit...crude (in the drawing sense of the word). The written stuff adds a lot, it makes it kinda human, personal. But what the hell is that dude in prison doing up there?

I pretty much (and surprisingly considering we usually dont see eye to eye on things) agree with the content of this.
The image itself is sweet. Baum would be proud of your type. all i can say is the "12 pows... collision" part is a little hard to read (maybe its just cuz its 4 am in the f*cking morning *flips off camera*) but it is a very meaningful part coupled with the propaganda.

I'm not too into things with "messages". So I didn't really read it.
Personally I feels the font for America Divided seems too "plain" and "Divided" should be different from "America", like in italics. The gas mask and the "article" suits the overall image.
On the bottom:
I feel the "People are dying sentence..." stands out too much, as a whole. It would be better (IMO) if you emphasized certain words by bolding or increasing the font size and make the other "less important" words the same shade of gray as on the bottom right.

Overall, this is a great image. The placing of the words, etc. makes this piece unique and original.
