Description Just look at you:
Obvious conformity turns their heads while you sit there and scream obsenities at them.
Wearing your disguise that only sheilds your eyes from your apparent normality.
Smoking a cigarette, just to fit in with a crowd of "individuals."
Wearing a uniform that is just reeking of punk and decked in all of non-conformist's accessories.
Your endless plots with your friends to prove that you're different than "the others".
Always ranting about your government, without ever seeing that you are the hypocrite...

Maybe i'll never understand what being a punk or an individual is all about... but as of now, i'm just happy being me.

i like this
simple and true!
thank you so very much
(i finally got around to reading it)
it's especially angering when these conformist "punks" claim to be the "different" ones
:S

"If you actaully read what I wrote you would note that I am speaking about "fake" punk kids. So next time you want to analyze my stuff please get the message before you bash the writing." -spunefed

It wasn't clear enough whether you were writing about fakers or punks in general. I believe the title is, after all, "PUNKS' hypocrisy," and you even go on to say "Maybe i'll never understand what being a PUNK...is all about." To me, that sounded like you disapproved of PUNKS. ta-ta.

Those 'punks' you wrote about really aren't the real/good ones. First of all, cigarettes really have no place in all of this. Second of all, real "punks" never go around calling themselves 'punk' (it actually started out as a very derogatory term, you know) and so these are rarely the ones all clad up in the accessories you speak of, or costumes. Blurrgh. It's about not conforming because that's the way you are. Never forced.

Youre right, you dont know what being a punk is, nor an individual....look at the icons that are the same as yours. But yeah, be yourself, thats the main thing.

Kudos to that thought! I've always felt left out, even though I tended to have friends in every clique........

That's really cool Frank. It's really well written stuff, and good views presented in a non-harmful way.

heh this is big today. I think ... I want to write something more on this. I'll credit you for giving me the idea. mine'll be more of a rant than yours, yours is sort of poetic. heh. my style of prose is sort of kerouac esque, just like train of thought, incorrect grammar on purpose (I'm a grammar freak but sometimes incorrect grammer makes a point) and ... yeah

hmm... let me discuss life in my thoughts here. haha sorry for the tangent. but yeah i agree with you on that.
