While I'm browsing through the images from last vacation to compile a photobook there are several shots which are not really special but I like them very much for personal reasons. Maybe you too. This is one of them.Related content

I usually don't go for sun flares, but I think this one really works, the backlighting of the buildings and street is cool

I think this is amazing.
It's like the song.."I left my heart in san francisco" except I really did. hah. We moved from there to connecticut 5 years ago, and I'll never stop missing it.

Naja, außer vielleicht Frankfurt würde die Wahl da auch eng werden. Aber fahren wir nicht alle nach USA, um genau diese Clisches von Wolkenkratzerschluchten erfüllt zu bekommen?

Nö, ich will auch noch ganz viele andere Klischees erfüllt bekommen, nicht nur das mit den Wolkenkratzern 
Mit FFM besteht allerdings wohl keine Verwechselungsgefahr, da 1. die Hochhäuser dort in nicht in diesem Stil und 2. nicht in der Nähe von solchen (für San Fran typischen) Hügeln gebaut sind. In FFM ist die Hochhausumgebung flach soweit ich mich erinnere.

LOL, wieso nicht? Neidisch dass es in Berlin kein Hochhausviertel gibt? Berlin ist auch ohne Hochhäuser schön (zumindest wenn man mal 'ne Woche da war [klingt komisch, iss aber so...war mal 4 tage in B und fand's schrecklich. Hab dann 7 wochen dort gewohnt und fand's geil]), nur Frankfurt am Main (FFM) wäre ohne seine Hochhäuser nix besonderes.

Thanks. The red lights are very important in this scene in my opinion since the red's the only real strong color here and it adds some icing on the cake.

I like the picture, but I think the sun is a little bit too hard in this picture, so I mean it´s a bit over-radiated, but it´s okay.

Yes you're right. The sky is overexposed but in my own opinion it's quite good this way. I like how it seems the white light breaks out and engulfs the scenery. Thanks for the critique.

I remember someone in my photo class had a picture of that same hill (or maybe not, because those hills all look exactly the same), and darn it if what I suggested their picture look like doesn't looks exactly like your picture.
