Well its excellent. A little Fakiru to brighten my night. lol I love it. I've been on a real kick with these two lately. And they really look like themselves in this piece, so kudos on that.

Only weird thing is her legs. It seems like they're too far apart for the section of them we can see. But still, very cute.

I've been on a big kick with them for so long! XD (I usually don't ship anything so hard but I really can't help it with them asflskfl <333)

Yeaaah, I wasn't originally going to draw her legs--the drawing was going to end at the end of the coat.
The idea is that she's kind of turned out, sort of?
But I totally see what you mean. I wondered if it looked awkward myself.
I kept the legs in because I was happy with how the creases of her pant legs came out. I'm usually so bad with clothing folds. That's a BAD excuse for keeping them the way they are, but it's true. XDD

Looking at it, I did think that the only way it *could* maybe work is if her body was half turned. And you can also blame Tutu anatomy. Girls' legs are weird in the show. XD And the pants ARE cool. lol Maybe the effect would be lessened if you extended Fakir's legs? Meh. *shrugs* Still a cool pic.

Totally know what you mean about shipping them hard. lol There's just something about Fakir/Ahiru... I think itss cus of their ending in canon. Like they were together and content, but not TOGETHER and, if you think about it a sec, its tragic. And also Fakir is so cute and adorkable but only Ahiru can make him that way. XD Fakiru has megatons of appeal.

Yeah, her torso should probably be turned slightly. I mean, it's possible to stand with your legs turned and your torso straight like hers (I just tried it XDD) but it's awkward and it makes your butt stick out. Haha~

Makes perfect sense. That's exactly how I feel. It was a good ending, but... I still want them to have a happily ever after dangit! D< Fakir will always be so close to the one he loves yet never be able to have her. Vice versa for Ahiru, too. (Tho for some reason I seem to connect with Fakir in this pairing more than Ahiru, despite loving both of them immensely.)

I read somewhere online that at a panel, someone asked Ito Ikuko that if there was a PT sequel, what characters would be focused on and she answered quickly "Fakir and Ahiru" so I was like YESYES. That gave me hope that someday Ahiru would maybe turn back into a girl and that their relationship could develop further, or something. XD
(Not that there will be a sequel but still...)
At least they can be together but yeah...it's a little heartbreaking to think of Ahiru just staying as duck.

(I definitely connect Fakir with this pairing more too and I think it's because his growing fondness for Ahiru is way more obvious than Ahiru's feelings toward him? Ahiru's feelings are subtle but they are definitely there and hinted at a few times.)

Yeah, you are right. her's are more subtle. But Ahiru's feelings are definitely there. "Fakir always makes the weak me stronger." and other lines like that. We definitely at least stop getting the vibe that she's "in love" with Mytho. I just think she might not be aware the feelings she does have toward Fakir are love.

Fakir's feeling are more obvious. I swear, by the end, he's always touching her. XD He hugs her to him to escape Drosselmeyer's grave. He picks her up bridal style. He's always cradling her to him when she's a duck. (Its adorable! ) And the smiles he gives her, too. She's the only one who brings that out in him. And the fact that any of it is showing at all, given his personality/demeanor, is a strong indication its serious stuff for him.

It is definitely heartbreaking for her to stay just a duck. Its unfair. I mean, she hasn't been "just" a duck since she became Ahiru (the girl), assuming she was "just a duck" then. Her true self is NOT a duck, darn it. Ducks don't dance ballet! lol

My friend and I were talking about this recently--how Ahiru probably was really never "in love" with Mytho in the first place. She definitely likes him! (At least a crush.) But really, she just wants to help him, you know?
I think you're right--it would take Ahiru a long while to figure out that her feelings towards Fakir are love.
(Which is why fanfiction is good if they build up their relationship slowly~ haha.)

Haha wow actually, you're totally right. He does touch her and hold her a lot near the end. XDD
Oh definitely--I mean, despite his personality I think he always had a sweet side but because of all his past problems and the situation he's in, it had to take someone like Ahiru to bring that out again.

Yeah, she's really not just a duck at all! She has feelings and emotions (haha yes and do ballet! XD) that a normal duck wouldn't have--which to me is a good indicator that maybe someday she can go back to being a human girl. Because in a way, she really has a human soul.
