Description Now that everything from =SpyHunter89 has been re-posted here, It's finally time for some new content! Anyway, part of the reason I got this new account was I was tired of visiting the favorites of people who faved my stamps, only to see a bunch of anti-Twilight Saga propaganda in the progress. Now, I'm no "Twi-hard", to steal the phrase from the Metro newspaper, but I read the first book and guess what - it was just okay! Oh, and one more thing - I don't remember anything about Edward being sparkley! Unhealthily pale, yes, but no sparkles as far as I can recall. I could go on.

Finally. A twilighter with a decent arguement.
I admit, the book would have been *decent* if it had not been expanded into a series. But Meyer slaughtered it by doing just that. And Bella was very selfish and nosey. That's just how I feel though, and I totally respect your opinion.

when he goes out into the sun, he sparkles like a glittering diamond. it shows it when he and bella were in the woods, well a clearing in the woods, and he wanted to show her why he couldn't be out in sunlight. (unfortunately i read the first book)

Yes! I couldn't agree more. I been searching for a stamp like this. I'm not a Twilight fan, but I searched "anti-stamps" on the site and saw nothing but anti-twilight stamps. Personally, I think all this anti-twilight crap is getting more annoying then the fans themselves.

I dont think stephanie mayers actually says he "sparkles" but during the scene in the meadow he does, i think the simile was he looked like a diamond or something like that. i can see how you would think it was just sun on uber pale skin effects though.

That's what I thought too. In retrospect, I admit she meant it literally. Now I want to know what she was smoking dreaming smoking to get that dream.

Thank you God! Someone else who neither hates Twilight nor loves it to death! It's so provoking to see people hating Twilight without having read the books, or claiming that the Cullens aren't real vampires, without knowing anything about the diversity of vampires in literature/movies.
And the rabbid fangirls are no better!

Having just been exposed to a lot of anti-twilight here on DA, reading your comment makes me feel like I can breathe again.

Thank you! (P.S: He does actually sparkle. )

LAWL I realized that the argument could go both ways. I guess it is a matter of how both sides take it. For example, a twilighter could ask someone for their opinion & the other person says she doesn't like it a lot. The twilighter then proceeds to throw a hissy fit. The anti person tries to defend herself & runs way. The twilighter runs after her & starts cursing.
The other could be when an anti is browsing through art & finds a twilight fanart. They proceed to it & put a nasty comment.

I wish it just never happened...

So true. but so far, i hadn't had an argument with any anti- twilight. Sure, i would agree the book has flaws, a lot of times i read their rants about the book and would laugh cuz 90% of what they say about the things that makes them hate book is true but i still love it. But i say, if you have nothing good to say, it is advisable to just keep your mouth shut, if not, being harsh isn't necessary right?

*p.s*
sorry for long comment

In retrospect, I admit it IS true. I just never paid attention to that choice of words at first.

Maybe I'm not so much of a book critic, but I will admit the Twilight series is nowhere near the most serious thing I have read. But, it has what some people want, and I respect them for their tastes. It's like, there's a market for everything in this world.

Not everyone likes Twilight either...

Argument goes both ways sorry.

Just stating facts.

No, that's a good fact to state.

In fact, I based this stamp on another one that said "Not everybody likes Twilight. Shut up about it." I am currently having trouble searching for it due to the immense popularity of being anti-Twilight.

Wow I'm glad you are actually able to take comments like this.

Too many people defensive about comments like this and I see your point.
