Another sketch request. They've really been piling up, so I don't think I'll be taking many more. However, I'm thinking about starting doing things like this as commissions. I just need to work out some of the technical details, like pricing.Related content

You're becoming much better with the facial features. Characters evoking strong emotions. Also love the little touches with the scarf and the position of the ear.
I'm still trying to get over that little curve that you've put in the back of the last few requests you've done, but I think I'm starting to see it. It's to justify them as a bi-ped, right? Kind of like an evolving human spine in the back of a pony, like they're in between the transition.

it's mainly just a geometric concept I'm experimenting with. Anatomically, the idea is that the rib cage is pushing forward while the shoulders are pushing out, in a sort of hunched position. You could call it a transition between human spine and pony, since they are a bit anthropomorphized, but my focus has been more geometrical. I liked it in the previous one because it gave the body a waviness that matched the mane, which I thought was nice. Here it's just more experimentation with shape--I haven't really gotten it "right" yet, and I might just stop including it, but I want to find some way to add a bit of complexity to the shapes.
