Lucien's father(and based on my main background/story/fan-fiction Spyro's father as well) was not full blood golden god, he was actually a fire elemental with minor effects from his ancestry. Crono is long dead before the start of the fan fiction: Legend of Spyro: Lucien's Beginning.

Lucien is only able to meet his father when he sleeps, in the ancestral realm for training/practice. He was around 12 before he entered the ancestral dream realm for the first time and met his real father. Cyril had raised him and was a father to him, but it was not Crono's choice to leave his own son without his biological father. More to come!

Edit: info: So even thoiugh Crono is not full blood Golden God, he still keeps to tradition with the "married" symbol, theirs being chest armor, which is where Lucien got his idea of his and Elyria's being the necklaces. Crono is a generally very kind dragon, open to many things. As a half blood, he did not live among the clouds as his parents had, instead he stayed in a cave system with many other dragons who were nomadic.

Crono's past is not all to interesting, lived a normal life as a dragon. His half blood came from his father's side, who was a fire elemental, while his mother was full fledged Golden God. The most interesting part of his life was when he gave his life energy to protect Lucien from Gray. If that was his most interesting, the second would be when Sphira's(Lucien's mother) parent found out she was with an elemental.
