Kyra is so pretty, I love her half-smile. It gives her a lot of personality, she seems very intelligent and playful!

So true, it's hard to get the person's expressions look real when you go full smile or other expressions.Β It greatly depends on the morphs of their faces as well.Β I usually go partial myself, but if I want to make my character really express, I work on all aspect and test render till I'm happy.Β So I agree with you, friend!

I hear ya there.Β When I added expressions to one of my characters in Renderosity (V4), I played with so many of the options to make them look right, and yes some were actually extreme (like a very happy child, I actually redid her morph to make it look good).Β It was a lot of work.Β Most characters sold just don't look right though.Β So I hear ya there!

Is it just me or she looks a lot like one you you male characters? As if they are siblings or something. I just saw the small thumbnail among the other new works on my watch list and immediately knew it was you.

No, not male looking features. Just like a sibling.
Oh, and I meant it as a good thing. I was just wondering if you were intentionally looking for such effect, or it just happened.

SpyroRue In reply to stoper [2018-07-25 13:10:05 +0000 UTC]
I think it just happened that way really, I did try to give her characteristics to stand independently, but maybe I haven't pushed hard enough.. Her earlier concepts had a much more Asian inspired heritage, but I kind of swapped that with one of the boys who, as it happened, drew a lot from a Mongolian decent.
I need to push myself to make my characters more distinguishable maybe. But that said maybe she could be re-rolled as Rue's cousin or something... there's always options. Her role has definitely shifted
