Nice fantasy painting here. But as far as your quote goes, you have used it out of context. Paul, when he said this, was talking about spiritual naivety and immaturity. If you read other writings you will see we are addressed as 'little children' and children of light. In fact, Jesus Himself stated in no uncertain terms, that unless you become as a 'little child' you shall in no wise enter the Kingdom of God, for such is the kingdom of heaven.

I need to read that verse again, there is a lot of truth in what you say. I find that children a lot of the time are very contrasted adults. They have the ability to be extremely brutal, and others have the ability to put a smile on anyone's face without hardly any effort.

Yeah - even Picasso said that when he did his artwork he tried to do things from the perspective of a child.
Although, I do recall something else, from Stephen King's "Hearts in Atlantis". That when we are children we experience moments of such joy like we're in some far off place, like Atlantis must have been, and then we grow up and our hearts break in two.
