Epic white heron in epic red lightning. Whoo.Wasn´t going to submit this at first, but it´s a painting and there´s not a deer in it for a chance so... It was lying around months unfinished until I yesterday thought I should do something to it and slapped some color on it. Atleast I like the splashes of paint.
Painted with oil.

Epic indeed! I must say I agree with you on the splashes of paint front. They lend a certain dynamic to the picture. I would maybe suggest varying the colour slightly more - the all-red background makes it look a little flat - but that might just be how it's come up in the photo/ scan. Great work nevertheless!

There were a bit more different shades in that red, but camera ate it. <_< But I was pretty much just playing with paints so it wasn´t that planned painting anyways, that´s why it ended up lying somewhere unfinished.
