A glimpse of a jumping unicorn through a mist. Or something.This is my first, very quick oil-painting that I actually like. It´s very simplistic, I know, kind of wanted it to be. Have been working for many weeks with other paintings, and was getting quite frustated with them, I needed to do just something fast and easy. I´m quite grown to like greyish colours. Could be it´s a bit too grey after going through photoshop, maybe I need to fix it a bit later.
Painted with oil paints.
Argh, it´s so shiny that it was a pain to photograph... <__<

What a wonderful scene you've made here. I love the lake. And the faded tree ridge really sets the depth.
I love how the ghostly creature looks upwards into the sun against the rays.
The extreme fade really compliments misty feeling you get.

Nice job- you definitely have opened a new door here. Try photographing with painting on floor in natural light (not direct sun), camera overhead and flash off
