I kinda felt bad for Baxter turning into a mutant fly, but knew it was coming by the previews. I'm sure he will really get his revenge on Shredder later. We'll just have to see on the way.

That's so much better than the treatment Baxter got in the 2003 series.

Sure it's meant to be "darker," but there is such thing as over-killing it. Plus, it's just ridiculous how Baxter was done to only a brain and an eye yet is still alive and able to talk (Baxter's not a god for crying  out loud! He should've been dead when Shredder started cutting off the major organs like the lungs and the heart!)
