'Through her eyes'This one might need some explanation: The bird isn't real (see how it casts no schadow on the girl) it's an imaginary thing made up by the girl. We see through her eyes. She has her own reality, we all do, maybe not as extreme as seeing an imaginary bird, but we often twist reality in our minds without realizing it.

A4, 300gm Canson watercolor paper, watercolors, watercolor pencils, pencil.
I forgot to count the hours... again XD I dunevenwannaknow.

Thank you <3 I'm glad you like the brid, I never draw birds so I was really worried it would look weird in the end.
Well I'm not a watercolor master myself but what I like to do is make a color sample. I usually take one of my earlier sketches for the final drawing and start playing around with the colors. Most of the times I have already decided on the hair color and in this case the main color of the bird. But playing around with colors can give you a nice idea of what your overall painting will look like. Offcourse with commission you can be limited in colors, but you can still play arund with the intensity of teh colors etc.
As for watercolor pencils, I don't do them justice, I barely use them. In this one, they were only used to give more detail to the hair in less time, but usually I'll do the hair with my tiniest brush (1/5). However, Ao-chan seems to know how to use them, so she might have some tips on how to use them properly xD
