on my way to Jekyll island, GA. My family passed through Jacksonville, i saw the CSX headquarters and Atlantic Coast Line 4-6-2 Class p4 #1504. And my god, this locomotive is HUGE (and beautiful)! She was just repainted and looks very close to her original post-war paint scheme. 1504 worked the central Florida network of the ACL. She was retired in the early 50s when the ACL was hellbent on replacing steam.
She is currently on display at a convention center parking lot in jacksonville.
