Jimmy, for a trade with the most delightful ! Her hair was fun to paint, and the ear fluff. I get the sense that Jimmy is a very adventurous character, I think that is what I like best about her.Edited: toned down the shadow a bit.

Oh, Squeek! I cannot TELL you how much I adore this! I agree with ZeroWiseman, at first glance I had to check if this was digital or not-- it is so smooth but has such a painterly, traditional feel. I love the blending of color and texture in her hair and ears especially, and her fabulously wrinkly shirt! I have always admired how you do clothing folds, they always look so thick and lustrous. And I am officially awestruck and envious of your use of that gorgeous textured background-- you really made her look like she's in that space, and not just layered on top of it; I think it's just the right touch of shading you did that completes that feel. This is really just so beautiful, I keep scrolling up to look at it

This is so awesome, I just dig your use of textures and the way you shade. I feel very drawn to the feel of the hair and fur. I like how you shaded her inner ears and shirt. The folds and lighting look very accurate for the material.
I actually had to look at the category to see it was digital, it looks so real and has such a traditional feel to it... That's amazing work!

Thank you! Textures = love. It feels great to be putting more time into digital art again, and getting comfortable using the Intuos4. The touch ring and buttons are so worth the upgrade I made from my old 2.
