I painted these Chinese hills and knew there needed to be a dragon in the image. I spent a long time on this, and I'm pretty happy with the results- the scales were great practice, it has been ages since I've drawn many dragons and never have I tried to digitally paint one.The scary open mouth is very similar to the last digital painting I posted, but I'm going to try not to let that annoy me too much.
Photoshop cs5 and wacom intuos 4 tablet.

You put so much effort into your works and it really shows. You always have such detail in your art and you really put a lot into every aspect of your works.
I'm looking at all the textures and it's not only smooth, but kind of tangible, as if you could tell how everything would feel upon touch.
The colors are gorgeous. I love the choice of colors both warm and cool, they really compliment each other.
