Description I straightened up the original image and increased the saturation and contrast.

I used a short depth of field to take the photo and in PS sharpened the image more so where it is focussed.

It's a picture of my fully grown male corn snake, called Marv, wrapped around a Gibson Les Paul Goldtop.

Thanks very much And you should get a snake!! Corn snakes are extremely easy to take care of, low cost and, personally, I've been bitten loads of times by a hamster but funnily enough, never by my snake - they're not agressive unless you give them a reason to be. I used to have 2 snakes but my wee baby snake got under it's heat mat and cooked itself I've been wanting an albino corn for so long, they're beautiful!

Y'know if you look online (often in reptile forums), you'll find some people just give their snakes away 'cause they can no longer look after them - means the only cost would be the equipment for the snake - assuming they don't give that with the snake

No snake trickery at all, he's just very well behaved. I just placed him in the position and he stayed put.
Unfortunately he wasn't as behaved with other photos I took but no matter - I got what I wanted
